1. Who these terms are with
These terms are an agreement between you and DriveStable Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales under company number 17410560, with its registered office at 71–75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ.
By creating an account or using a signed-in beta feature, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use those features. Questions can be sent to hello@drivestable.co.uk.
2. Beta scope
The beta includes local-first Personal vehicle records, signed-in private Squads, Meets, private Cruises, optional time-limited Squad Live mapping, private build activity with optional evidence, safety controls, user-requested official MOT history, and previews of selected Premium features. Features may be incomplete, unavailable, changed or withdrawn while testing continues.
Public Squad discovery, Marketplace and purchases are not part of this beta. Live vehicle-tax lookup remains unavailable.
3. Safe and lawful use
Do not use or operate DriveStable while driving. Make changes only when safely parked, or ask a passenger to use the app. You remain responsible for your vehicle, your driving, obeying road laws and checking information before relying on it.
DriveStable is not a navigation, emergency, breakdown-recovery or roadside-dispatch service. If anyone is in immediate danger, call 999 or 112. Do not rely on an in-app report, location marker, reminder or vehicle record for an emergency response.
Map content and member markers do not provide turn-by-turn navigation, automatic route optimisation or a guaranteed recovery response. Any future third-party recovery service will have its own accepted presentation, availability and terms before it is offered.
4. Your account
You must provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in secure and tell DriveStable promptly if you believe somebody else has accessed your account. You are responsible for activity under your account unless the law says otherwise.
DriveStable may restrict or suspend access where reasonably needed to protect users, investigate abuse, comply with law or protect the service. You may stop using the beta at any time and can follow the account deletion process.
5. Vehicle records and estimates
Personal records, reminders, calculations and estimates are tools to help you organise information. They are not a substitute for manufacturer instructions, a qualified technician, legal checks or your own inspection. You are responsible for checking entries and keeping a separate copy of anything you cannot replace.
6. Private Squads, content and safety
You may only join or use a private Squad where you have permission. Do not harass, threaten, impersonate or endanger another person; disclose someone else's personal information without authority; upload unlawful or infringing material; or try to bypass roles, blocks, removals or other safety controls.
Squad owners and moderators can review reports and take proportionate action within their Squad. DriveStable may preserve and review the minimum information reasonably needed to investigate abuse, protect the service or comply with law. In-app reporting is not an emergency channel and does not guarantee an immediate response.
Build details and attached evidence are supplied by members and are not independently verified by DriveStable. Do not upload material you do not have the right to share.
7. Live location
Squad Live is optional and must be deliberately enabled for a selected private Squad. Sharing automatically expires after the period shown in the app. Ghost mode stops sharing and removes the stored location fields. Only share when it is safe and you have the authority to share the device's location.
8. Premium preview
The beta may display proposed Premium features and prices. Purchases and subscriptions are disabled: no payment will be taken, no paid entitlement is created and there is nothing to restore. Before any paid service launches, DriveStable will show the applicable price, billing period, renewal and cancellation terms and ask for your express agreement.
9. Licence and intellectual property
DriveStable grants you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable and revocable right to use the beta for lawful testing. DriveStable and its licensors retain their rights in the app, service, branding and software. You retain ownership of material you create and grant DriveStable only the rights needed to host, process and display it to provide and protect the service.
10. Availability and responsibility
DriveStable will use reasonable care and skill, but a beta may have defects or interruptions and is not promised to be continuously available. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or your mandatory consumer rights.
11. Privacy, changes and governing law
The Privacy Policy explains how personal information is handled. DriveStable may update these terms as the beta develops and will give reasonable notice of a material change before it applies where required.
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, without removing any mandatory protection or right to bring a claim that the law of your home country gives you as a consumer.
